The University of the Cumberlands men's golf team landed 16th in the latest NAIA coaches' poll, announced by the national office Friday. The Patriots earned 257 points.

Patriots Fall Short in Battle for the Brass Lantern at Union

The UC Football Patriots made the trip to Barbourville, Kentucky tonight for one of the most highly recognized rivalry games in the NAIA, the Battle for the Brass Lantern, as they faced off against the Bulldogs of Union College. In the highest scoring game in the series history, it was a back-to-back scores for Union in the fourth quarter that would give them the 49-45 win over the Patriots as the Brass Lantern returns to the Bulldogs.

Patriots Set to Face Union in the Battle for the Brass Lantern

The University of the Cumberlands football team is looking to retain the Brass Lantern this weekend when they travel to Barbourville, KY to face Mid-South Conference rival Union Saturday at 7 p.m. It will be the 32nd meeting between these two schools, with the Patriots leading the all-time series 21-10.

Patriots Golf Wins Bill Sergent Invite; Kendrick Earns Medalist Honors

The UC Men's Golf team took to their home course at Crooked Creek Golf Course in London, Kentucky as they hosted the Annual Bill Sergent Invitational. Fifty-two men would take their talent to the links in search of both individual Medalist honors and the team championship. The Patriots would have to battle, but would come away with the win along with one Patriot earning his first victory of the year.

Patriots' Air Attack Leads UC to 42-7 Win over CCU

UC Football returned to action on Saturday night two hours later than originally scheduled due to numerous delays to take on the Eagles of Cincinnati Christian University (CCU). The Eagles opened up MSC East Division play for the Patriots and UC would jump ahead early, never looking back as they took down the Eagles 42-7. The win moves the Patriots to 2-1 overall on the season and 1-0 in MSC East play.

The UC Patriots earned a solid 23-17 victory over the #17 ranked Tigers of Campbellsville University last week. As UC continues their prep for the Wildcats of Bethel University this week, two Patriots have been honored with weekly awards from the Mid-South Conference (MSC) for their efforts in last week's win.

Patriot Football Opens Season Strong with Win over #17 Campbellsville

On a historic night in Williamsburg, Kentucky, the UC Football Patriots opened their 2016 season under the lights on Thursday night against the NAIA #17 ranked Tigers of Campbellsville University (CU). The Patriots would fall behind early, but would show grit and determination as they would score 23 straight points to take the lead. CU would score again in the 4th, but the Pats would hold tight for the 23-17 victory. The win moves the Patriots to 1-0 on the season.

Men's Golf Finishes 6th at SCAD-Atlanta Fall Invitational

The UC Men's Golf Team opened their fall season on Tuesday and Wednesday this week as they traveled to Covington, Georgia to participate in the SCAD-Atlanta Fall Invitational. The Patriots went into the tournament with many new faces in the lineup from last season, but would look to make a mark. UC would finish the tournament in sixth place out of seven competing schools.

Coastal Carolina University graduates Class of 2016

Approximately 1,100 students were graduation candidates for Coastal Carolina University's commencement ceremonies on May 6 and 7, 2016, at the HTC Center on campus. Grand Strand businessman and civic leader Dennis L. Wade was the speaker for the event, which consisted of four separate ceremonies.

The University of the Cumberlands (UC) Football program recently wrapped up a great 2015 season as they rebounded from a 3-7 finish in 2014 to go 7-3 this season and 4-1 in Mid-South Conference (MSC) East Division play. On Thursday, the MSC announced its yearly awards and the Patriots had numerous players honored for their hard work on the gridiron.

Football Patriots Fall to Tigers in Season Finale

The University of the Cumberlands (UC) Football Patriots looked to finish out their regular season with a victory on Saturday which would secure the Mid-South Conference (MSC) East Division championship. It would not be an easy task though as they would take on a Georgetown College (GC) Tiger team that was riding a 4 game winning streak coming into the contest. Unfortunately for UC, it was not the ending they were looking for as UC would drop their regular season finale 30-13 to the Tigers. The loss moves UC to 7-3 on the season and 4-1 in MSC East play.

Craig's Career Day Leads UC to Victory over Pikeville

The University of the Cumberlands (UC) Football team looked to remain unbeaten in Mid-South Conference (MSC) play on Saturday as they hosted the Bears of the University of Pikeville (UPike). UC and UPike would trade turnovers early, but UC would right the ship as they would dominate most of the next three quarters, taking the 48-29 victory, improving their overall record to 6-2 and moving to 3-0 in MSC East Division play.

Patriot Golf Finishes 3rd at MSC Fall Round Up

The University of the Cumberlands (UC) Men's Golf team hit the road on Monday and Tuesday as they participated in the Mid-South Conference (MSC) Fall Round Up in Bowling Green, Kentucky. The Patriots would struggle in the opening round and would fall victim to mother nature as the 2nd round would be rained out, referring final results back to Monday, giving UC a 3rd place finish overall.

Patriot Golf Earns Top 5 Finish at NAIA Preview

The University of the Cumberlands (UC) Men's Golf team took to the links on Monday and Tuesday in Silvis, Illinois at the NAIA Fall Preview at TPC Deere Run. The tournament would showcase a plethora of top tier talent in the NAIA, including nine NAIA Top 25 teams and five teams receiving votes. UC would put together two solid rounds over the two-day event to earn a T-5th finish out of 24 teams.

Patriot Football Returns to Win Column vs. Kentucky Christian

The University of the Cumberlands (UC) Football team looked to get back to their winning ways on Saturday as they traveled to Grayson, Kentucky to take on the Knights of Kentucky Christian University (KCU). The Patriots made the best of every opportunity as they tallied 56 points in the contest, only missing out on converting 3 of their 11 possessions for points. The Patriot defense also did their job, limiting the Knights to 263 yards of offense in the game as UC prevailed 56-17 over KCU, moving their overall record to 5-2 on the season and 2-0 Mid-South Conference (MSC) East.

Patriot Football Falls at #1 Lindsey Wilson

The University of the Cumberlands (UC) Football team looked to extend their continued success this season on Saturday, but it would be a daunting task as they traveled to take on the NAIA #1 ranked Blue Raiders of Lindsey Wilson College (LWC). The Patriots would fight hard early, trailing just 14-13 at the half, but the 2nd half was dominated by big plays by the Blue Raiders as they would take the win 41-19 over UC. The loss moves the Patriots to 4-2 overall on the season.

Patriot Golf Rallies Back for 2nd Place Finish at MSC Fall Invite

The University of the Cumberlands (UC) Men's Golf team would make the trip north to Portsmouth, Ohio this week to participate in the Mid-South Conference (MSC) Fall Invitational. UC would struggle during the opening round, but would rally back in the final round to finish the tournament just 2 shots out of 1st place behind eventual winner Cumberland University.

Patriot Football Pounds Wildcats in 59-7 Route

The University of the Cumberlands (UC) Football program looked for their first 3 game winning streak under Head Coach Matt Rhymer on Saturday as they hosted the Bethel University Wildcats. It was UC's game from the start as the Patriots would hang 16 points on the Wildcats in the first 90 seconds of the game and would never look back. UC would come away with a 59-7 victory over Bethel, moving UC to 4-1 overall on the season.
